The following documentation are required for your application to be considered.
Current statement of attainment must meet the following criteria:
- Assessors must satisfy the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015/AQTF mandatory competency requirements for assessors.
- In addition, assessors for HLTAID001 and HLTAID002 must hold a current HLTAID003 first aid qualification.
All submitted documents must be verified.

Exemptions - The Act exempts a range of people from the WWC Check including teachers registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). This exemption exists because teachers have already had their criminal records rigorously checked by VIT. The exemptions are designed to reduce the administrative burden particularly on voluntary organisations using the WWC Check. Find out more about exemptions here.

The revised Standards for RTOs 2015 and this ministerial release have changed the minimum qualifications required of trainers and assessors within the vocational education and training sector from 1 July 2019:
