Secure the area with adhesive tape over three sides only. Leaving the bottom side un-taped will act as a one-way valve by stopping air from being sucked in whilst allowing air to escape from the chest cavity.Call Ambulance 000.Keep the patient warm, rested and comfortable.Closely monitor patient for response, airway, normal breathing while waiting for Ambulance.
